The wee lad had himself a moment.
I just watched Bush’s interview with an Irish tv reporter. It’s being reported as a testy exchange.
I’d go further:
“You ask the questions and I’ll answer them, if you don’t mind.”
I actually caught my breath as I listen to the tense, ennervated tone of voice Bush used with that last phrase.
To me it came across as authoritarian, arrogant .. as if he was saying “shut up and listen to what I have to say, because I know and you don’t”. He almost lost his temper.
Evidently, he did, since additional interviews were cancelled and the reporter admonished by WH staff.
