I don’t go to concerts nearly as often as I would like to (for example, I recently missed David Byrne at a reasonably intimate venue here in Vancouver) but one of my all time favourites, Leonard Cohen, will be here on April 19.
I doubt I’ll ever get a chance to see him in concert again, so I bought the best tickets I could get (ouch ! ).
Needless to say, I am looking forward to the evening with anticipation.

Appears that Ticketmaster has been up to shenanigans
Thanks, Doug, for this info. I had heard (vaguely) about this before, but from what I can tell my purchase was legit. The “ouch” was indeed in reference to them being pretty expensive, but nowhere near the prices cited in that article.
So, maybe I dodged a bullet ? Although I must say there was no way I would go to this concert if the tickets’ cost $250, say (even though Leonard Cohen is one of my all-time favourites).
